Use the collection route to define the truck
Before comparing garbage compactor truck prices in the Philippines, write down the collection route and the type of waste. Record the spacing of stops, reversing space, restricted junctions and distance to the disposal or transfer point. A compact rear-loader and a large three-axle truck solve different route problems. A low headline quotation is not meaningful if the offered vehicle cannot reach the collection points or unload at the receiving facility.
Compare body capacity without inventing payload
The currently listed reference range includes the 5m³ Foton rear-loader and the 14m³ Dongfeng municipal truck. Compare nominal body volume together with route requirements. Body volume does not guarantee a payload in tonnes or a fixed number of bins. Compaction changes the occupied space but does not remove the need to check waste mass and axle loads. Send a representative waste-density estimate and request a loading calculation for the complete vehicle. Do not assume that the largest body always produces the lowest cost per route.
Confirm the bins and rear working equipment
List the bin dimensions, lifting interface and collection method. Include photographs or a drawing of the actual bins. A nominal bin volume does not prove that a particular lifter will fit the bin attachment or withstand its filled weight. Ask for the agreed rear-loader equipment and operating arrangement. Hydraulic controls, safety equipment and lifting options need to be identified in the offered specification before prices can be compared.
Check vehicle size against disposal trips
Request the dimensions of each configuration actually offered in your quotation. Compare length, width, turning space and the rear unloading position with the measured collection route. A smaller truck can improve access but may need more unloading journeys. A larger body needs room at junctions, collection stops and unloading areas. Compare those constraints using route drawings instead of relying on a capacity label alone.
Separate the truck price from the delivery scope
For an imported vehicle, ask what the quotation includes and what the buyer must arrange. Identify the currency, quantity, selected body and chassis, delivery scope and required documents. Import and registration requirements need confirmation for the actual vehicle and destination; the website does not promise eligibility for every Philippine project.
Use an equal-specification comparison
Send the same collection brief to each supplier. Include the country, required drive side, quantity, daily volume, waste density, bin interface and disposal distance. Review the currently listed configuration below, then ask for the exact chassis, body equipment, loading calculation and written quotation scope. Resolve missing items before treating two offered prices as equivalent.
